Shiftkeys
I've always felt I don't use my right shift key enough, so I wrote up this little game to train myself to use the shift key opposite the letter you are pressing.
I'm not saying this should be a hard and fast rule for touch typing;
there are lots of exceptions. For instance, if you are already holding
the shift key down and and can reach the next letter easily, or for
middle keys like T
, G
, and B
where the most comfortable shift
key will probably be different for everyone.
So this game is overcompensating a bit. After playing it a couple
times though, I've become a lot more comfortable typing left hand
symbols and some keys like Z
, X
, and C
which are awkward with
the left shift.
I hope you find it useful!
